Fondation Maeght - Saint-Paul-de-Vence

Culture

Nestled in the hills of Saint-Paul de Vence, the Maeght Foundation is an iconic venue for modern and contemporary art. Inaugurated in 1964, it was designed by architect Josep Lluís Sert at the request of Marguerite and Aimé Maeght, passionate collectors and patrons. This private museum houses an exceptional collection of works by major 20th-century artists such as Miró, Giacometti, Chagall, and Braque. Surrounded by pine trees and bathed in Mediterranean light, the foundation offers a unique experience, blending architecture, art, and nature in a harmonious and inspiring setting.
